[Mike] - Presenting to Elli

Today we undertook the task of presenting our ideas and animation for the Visit Essex project to0 Elli Constantatou. Along with Richard Barnes and Jo Bowman, Elli was able to view all of the group's presentations for the project and give us some feedback on them.

Unfortunately due to illness, Simon Mills was unable to be present for the presentation so Michael, Daniel and Tom showed the video animation to the audience. A small Powerpoint presentation was created to give the audience some visuals whilst we were discussing the ideas and process to creating the animation.

We all felt that the presentation went really well. We tried to create a fun animation that would create a good vibe for the audience and it certainly did that with everybody enjoying themselves and finding parts of the animation very amusing.

After all of the presentations were completed, Elli, Jo and Richard were able to give us some feedback about what they thought were good and bad about our animations. This feedback would be beneficial to us when needing to create a project for a client in the future.

The feedback we received was very good. There were only 2 points that could be improved on by us. These were only very minor points and were more in the way of making our animation more suitable for the company to promote when only having a small amount of time for a video. We are going to make these minor changes before the final hand-in on Friday as they will only take a very small amount of time to complete. Elli, Jo and Richard all picked up on the idea of creating a good vibe for the audience and the animation having some humour involved. This was one of the things that we really wanted to get across so when we were given this feedback we were very happy.
